Комітет з питань енергетики та житлово-комунальних послуг здійснив робочу поїздку на Черкащину, де провів виїзне засідання щодо розвитку централізованого теплопостачання міст України.
Комунальне підприємство «Черкаситеплокомуненерго» є лідером у впровадженні ефективних заходів з розвитку централізованого теплопостачання.
Окрім ведення основної діяльності – утримання теплових мереж та генерації теплової енергії для опалення та гарячого водопостачання, підприємство займається розвитком розподіленої генерації електричної енергії. Завдяки підтримці міжнародних партнерів – Агентства США з міжнародного розвитку (USAID) – КПТМ «Черкаситеплокомуненерго» встановило шість когенераційних установок.
Такі установки генерують електроенергію для власного споживання підприємства, що дозволяє місту мати безперебійне теплопостачання в умовах аварійних або планових відключень електроенергії. Крім того, вироблена установками електрична енергія може відпускатись в мережу для інших споживачів, завдяки чому може бути зменшено дефіцит в енергосистемі в пікові години.
«Досвід Черкас є гарним прикладом для всієї України, інші підприємства теплокомуненерго мають перебирати їхній досвід і розвивати галузь», - сказав Голова Комітету Андрій Герус.
Андрій Герус додав, що Комітет зі свого боку надає підтримку у реалізації відповідних проектів та координує взаємодію між USAID та операторами газорозподільних мереж та операторами систем розподілу з метою оперативного приєднання КГУ до газових та електричних мереж.
У 2024 році Проект USAID ПЕБ планує встановити в Україні 91 когенераційну газопоршневу установку, які будуть забезпечувати автономну роботу комунальних теплопостачальних підприємств.

поділився досвідом успішної роботи підприємства, а також зробив презентацію на
тему: «Чи можливе прибуткове централізоване теплопостачання?».
У своїй презентації Павло Карась зазначив, що засадами прибутковості централізованого теплопостачання, зокрема є: реалізація заходів з енергетичної ефективності, стовідсотковий облік теплової енергії, можливість регулювання відпуску тепла та тарифна лібералізація.

The Committee on Energy, Housing and Utilities Services made a working trip to Cherkasy Oblast, where it held an external meeting on the development of centralized heat supply in Ukrainian cities.
The utilities company Cherkasyteplokomunenergo is a leader in implementing effective measures for the development of centralized heat supply.
In addition to its main activities – maintenance of heat networks and thermal energy generation for heating and hot water supply, the company is engaged in developing distributed generation of electricity. Due to the support of its international partner, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the Communal Heating Company Cherkasyteplokomunenergo installed six cogeneration units (CGUs).
Such units generate electricity for the company’s own consumption, enabling the city to have an uninterrupted heat supply in conditions of emergency or scheduled power outages. Moreover, the electricity produced by the units can be released into the grid for other consumers, resulting in a reduction of the deficit of electricity in the system during the peak hours.
“The experience of Cherkasy is a good example for the whole of Ukraine; other heating companies should adopt its experience and develop the industry,” said Andrii Gerus, Head of the Committee.
Andrii Gerus added that the Committee, for its part, provides support in the implementation of relevant projects and coordinates interaction between USAID and the operators of the gas distribution networks and of the distribution systems in order to promptly connect the CGUs to gas and electricity networks.
In 2024, the USAID Energy Security Project (ESP) plans to install 91 cogeneration gas piston units in Ukraine, which will ensure the autonomous operation of communal heat supply enterprises.
During the meeting, Pavlo Karas, Director of the CHC Cherkasyteplokomunenergo, shared the experience of the company’s successful operation and also delivered a presentation entitled “Can Centralized Heat Supply Be Profitable?”
In his presentation, Pavlo Karas noted that the principles of centralized heat supply profitability include, in particular, the implementation of energy efficiency measures, 100 percent accounting of thermal energy, the possibility to regulate the release of heat, and tariff liberalization.
